This video introduces Action for Happiness, explaining why we think happiness matters and how Action for Happiness hopes to inspire and enable people to help...
I agree this 100%, especially on belonging, the inter-personal, and the long-awaited death of the endless growth-economy as a guarantor of happiness. Here's are the only two things that worry me: firstly, how do we actually measure happiness without getting caught in the target-leg league-tableism of the 2000s? Secondly, can this work within an unchanged polity (that is, what is 'our society' - if you say that that 'national conversation' is based on a 'national' UK you may as well be trying to build happiness in Saudi Arabia or North Korea). These are my only concerns, once I understand these I'm totally behind it.
